FillTrack Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026. This page describes how FillTrack stores and handles local-first vehicle logbook data and support information.

Business identity

FillTrack is operated by FillTrack Pty Ltd, ABN 39 699 077 855, ACN 699 077 855.

Local-first storage

FillTrack stores vehicle profiles, fuel fills, trips, services, tyres, maintenance, expenses, range inputs, settings, photos, attachments, import/export records, and backup data locally on the device using browser storage or app storage.

No accounts or cloud sync

FillTrack does not currently use accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, subscriptions, or payments. Features such as push notifications, widgets, OCR, and receipt scanning are not part of the current release.

Information collected

FillTrack may store the information you enter or import, including vehicle data, fuel records, odometer readings, trip and Business Logbook records, maintenance and service records, tyre records, expenses, reminders, notes, photos, PDFs, settings, backup files, import files, export files, and support details you choose to provide.

Device information and diagnostics

The app may process technical details needed to run locally, such as app version, browser storage availability, platform, service worker state, restore preview status, storage diagnostics, and import validation errors. Analytics and crash reporting are not currently used in the public local-first release unless a later app version or setting says otherwise.

Backups and exports

JSON backups and CSV exports are files created when the user chooses to download them. The user controls where those files are stored, shared, transferred, or deleted. Exported files are saved to your device and are not encrypted by FillTrack after download, so keep backups private and separate from the device being backed up.

Photos and attachments

Photos and attachments remain local unless the user exports, shares, backs up, or transfers them. JSON backups may include stored attachments.

Clearing app data

Clearing browser storage, site data, app data, or device data may remove saved FillTrack records. Export a JSON backup before clearing data, changing devices, reinstalling, or restoring from another file.

Future cloud sync compatibility

FillTrack may later introduce optional account, cloud sync, cloud backup, subscription, or cross-device features. If introduced, those features may store selected app data with third-party infrastructure and will require updated in-app or policy disclosures before launch. Cloud sync should not be treated as a guarantee against data loss.

Third-party providers

FillTrack may use third-party providers for website hosting, app distribution, app stores, app-store billing, email, support, crash reporting, analytics, cloud storage, security, or infrastructure if those features are introduced. Providers should only receive information reasonably needed to provide those services. FillTrack does not currently process direct payments in the public local-first release.

Retention and deletion

Local app records remain on the device or browser until you edit, delete, clear, restore over, uninstall, reset, clear storage, or lose access to the relevant device or app data. Support and contact records may be kept as reasonably needed for support, security, legal, accounting, dispute, or business purposes.

Your rights

You can generally access, correct, export, or delete local app records through the app. For personal information held by FillTrack Pty Ltd, such as support or contact records, use the contact page to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
